Greg Knaddison

Greg (drupal.org user greggles) is a developer, site builder, security analyst, and trainer for GVS. Before finding Drupal, he built several web applications for telecommunications companies using a mix of databases and programming languages and acted as a QA/release engineer for one glorious fall. Greg's studied Information Systems and East Coast psyche at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.

Greg founded GVS with the goal of building a boutique firm that balanced a mix of professional services and direct-to-consumer products. He has worked on client sites including Economist.com and California Closets. Some of the internal projects he has worked on include Mastering Drupal's Tutorial Videos, the Drupal news site DrupalDashboard.com and the local news sites BakerNow.com and Ice Cream Denver.

In 2007 Greg pulled together people he had met locally and started the Denver Drupal User Group meetings where experts and new users get together to share tips and ideas about using Drupal. His most prominent contributions to the Drupal project are the maintenance of major modules like Pathauto and Comment Notify and helping build Groups.Drupal.org. Shortly after joining the Drupal Security Team Greg embarked on writing Cracking Drupal the only book about using Drupal securely. As a member of the Drupal Association General Assembly, Greg helps support Drupalcamps and improvements in the drupal.org infrastructure.

Greg has presented at Drupalcons since Sunnyvale in 2007. His favorite presentations include Using Token Module as a Developer from Drupalcon DC in 2009 and [Strategies for Community Contributions]http://sf2010.drupal.org/conference/sessions/strategies-community-contributions) from Drupalcon San Francisco in 2010.
